The Voice 2012: Ousted Contestants Looking On The Bright Side
Last night on The Voice 2012, Katrina Parker, Erin Willett, Jamar Rodgers and Lindsay Pavao had their Voice dreams dashed, but they’re all still looking on the bright side of things (because they’re still under contract with NBC).
The foursome stopped by The Today show today to talk about their experience on The Voice and how they just missed a shot at the finale.
Jamar, once a favorite in the contest, answered the question everyone has been wondering: what happened?
“It was Democracy at its best,” Jamar said. “I couldn’t have lost to a better person.”
Lindsay has nothing but love for Chris Mann, who edged her out of the contest this week. ”His voice was like crystal the other night,” she said. “I adore him as a singer and I’m so excited to see him go to the finale.”
Al Roker mentioned that had Adam Levine split his votes 50/50, Katrina would have beaten Tony Lucca.
“Once I did the math, that was a little tough,” Katrina said. “That’s why Adam is in that chair. It’s his decision to make.”
Erin continued the diplomacy. “As far as I’ve come, I can only be proud of myself,” she said.
