When THE VOICE 2012 premiere hits on February 5th the sophomore season of NBC’s hit singing competition show will dive straight in to the Blind Audition rounds and it’s going to stay there for quite awhile.

Last week executive producer Mark Burnett revealed the season will increase its teams from 8 singers per mentor to 12. That raises the total number of performers by 50%, from 32 to 48 total. Wow. Not only does that mean the mentors’ teams will grow, but so will the time required to get through the Blind Auditions phase of the competition.

Did you enjoy the auditions enough to see 50% more of that phase or would you prefer to keep The Voice as it was last season?
