Blake and Christina on The Voice 2012

The coaches moved one step closer tonight to finishing off their teams for season 3 of The Voice 2012 but still none managed to round out their numbers. All coaches but Adam managed to find a singer or two tonight so the pressure will be on next week for them to seal the deal and move on to the Battle Rounds.

Here’s a look at a few of tonight’s great singers on The Voice season 3 episode 7.

Sylvia Yacoub “Only Girl in the World”
Sylvia is from Egypt and was inspired by her mother to pursue her dreams of music in a free society. She sings “Only Girl in the World” and earns a chair-spin from all but Adam. In the end she decides to go with Team Christina.

Amanda Brown “Valerie”
Amanda is a backup singer looking to move from the back of the stage to the front with her blind audition performance of “Valerie.” She only manages to earn CeeLo’s chair-spin but one is all it takes during these auditions. She’ll move on to the next round with CeeLo at the helm.

Cassadee Pope “Torn”
Moving on from a life of playing in a band Cassadee feared she could have made the wrong decision to go solo, but any fears were wiped away tonight when her Blind Audition spun all four Coaches chairs with her performance of “Torn.” In the end I thought she made a surprising choice by going with Blake, but that’s her team for the Battle Rounds.

Charlie Rey “Home”
Charlie wants to move on from working as a “smog mechanic” which would be funnier if it wasn’t something real. Luckily for Charlie his audition of “Home” earns a chair-spin from Adam and Blake giving him the choice to go with either team. Since you already know no one went with Team Adam tonight that makes it a giveaway that Team Blake added Charlie on to the roster instead.
