Do you know what tattoo Angie Johnson got after her 18th birthday? Or what her favorite song by her mentor Cee Lo Green is? Find those answers and more from The Voice 2012 contestant’s Q&A.

Q:  If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

A:  I would go to Nashville.  I know I live there, but I’ve been away from home a lot with my military duties and The Voice.  I’ve only been home for a few days here and there.  So, I would go to my quaint little house in Nashville, wrap myself up in my fave blanket and veg on the couch for at least a week.  And I’m thinking peanut butter fudge brownie ice cream would have to be involved.

Q:  Who is your celebrity crush?

A:  When I was little, about once a week my parents would pop a huge bucket of popcorn and let me stay up a little later to watch a classic movie on AMC.  So, I think I’d get a little weak in the knees for Robert Redford if I ever met him.  I know he’s quite a few years older than me, but in my mind’s eye he’s still handsome and debonair Jay, from The Great Gatsby.  I’ve dug his mojo ever since I saw him in that flick.  He’s dreamy.  Nobody’s got it like Robert Redford.

Q:  What song is currently your guilty pleasure?

A:  I love this song called “Show Me” by a local Nashville artist named Beckah Shae.  It’s got this poppy reggae feel to it.  It’s my go to song for getting myself motivated in the mornings.  A cup of coffee with that song in the background while I’m getting ready for the day really gets me amped.

Q:  Who would play you in a movie?

A:  Oh wow, so many crazy things have happened that my life would have to be a mini-series!  I think it would be rad if Jennifer Garner or Angelina Jolie played me in a movie.  They could totally handle the military chick aspect of my life.  But can they sing?

Q:  What’s your favorite song from your coach?

A:  I wanna be atypical, I really do.  But “Crazy” hands down.

Q:  What was your first concert ever?

A:  My first concert ever was to see the band, Alabama, at an amphitheater in St. Louis when I was 12 years old.  I begged my dad to take me for months.  We had seats in the second row and I danced and sang along to every song. I thought it was the most incredible thing when Randy Owen threw his sweaty towel into the audience and I was the one who caught it.  I treasured that thing for years.  I actually think that I still have it in a memento box in my attic.

Q:  Tattoos?

A:  I have one tattoo on the back of my neck.  I got it the day after my 18th birthday as an act of rebellion.  It’s a blue and white Japanese character that says “Pray.”  To me, speaking to God on another’s behalf has always felt like one of the most powerful things we can do for another.  So I branded myself to remember to do it.  Praying really keeps me level in an often hectic world.

Q:  My last text message says:

A:  It’s actually an emoticon of a little, red, angry face.  I was having a text convo with the band leader of the military band I sing in.  He was giving me a run down of what I missed over our last drill weekend.  He was telling me about all the new plans in place for decommissioning our unit over the coming months.  I’m still having a bit of a hard time coming to terms with the fact that they’re nixing us due to budget cuts.  >:(  *insert angry face*

Random Tidbit of Information:  People would be surprised to learn that I have Cali Swag District on my iPod.
