Good news for fans of NBC‘s new show, The Voice. Ratings came in very solid for the series debut with an average of 5.1 adults in the 18-49 bracket. That gave NBC the win for the night in that particular group, which is a coveted demographic. That rating translates in to a high 11 million, nearly 12 million viewer average for the two-hour premiere episode. Missed it? No problem. You can watch The Voice online.

These were the best premiere ratings NBC has earned since The Jay Leno Show in 2009 and American Gladiators in 2008. Gulp. Both of those shows are in the trash bin over at NBC. Hopefully that doesn’t happen to this one too because I’m actually getting to like it! What about you?
