Watch THE VOICE Online: Episode 3 – Battle Rounds

NBC has released The Voice Episode 3 in full, so you can watch it online now.

The Battle Rounds played out a lot differently than I had expected. I thought the format was very exciting and entertaining. What’d you think of this weeks’ The Voice?

It’d be great if NBC moved the show a little earlier and made it air a few times a week.

THE VOICE Episode 3 Results – Battle Rounds Part 1

The first part of the Battle Rounds on The Voice is now over. Here are the results from episode 3.

If you missed last night’s show then you can watch The Voice Episode 3.

  • Team Christina Aguilera: Frenchie Davis and Tarralyn Ramsey faced off over “Single Ladies.” Frenchie was the winner and Tarralyn was eliminated.
  • Team Blake Shelton: Patrick Thomas and Tyler Robinson battled with “Burning Love.” Patrick was the winner and Tyler was eliminated.
  • Team Adam Levine: Adam pits Tim Mahoney and Casey Weston against each other with “Leather and Lace.” Tim is eliminated and Casey is selected as the winner.
  • Team Cee Lo Green: Vicci Martinez and Niki Dawson face off singing “Perfect.” Vicci is declared the winner and Niki is sent home.

What do you think of the coaches’ decisions? These were great performances so I imagine the choices were very difficult.

THE VOICE Episode 3 Airs Tonight on NBC

Here comes episode 3 of The Voice tonight on NBC. They’ve shifted it to 10PM after Biggest Loser is over but at least it’ll only be one hour and still finish at the same time as the past two weeks.

This evening’s show will focus on the Battle Rounds now that the Blind Auditions are over. This means the teams will be competing internally in face off duel type events where one singer is eliminated by the coach’s decision.

Yesterday on a conference call with a few of the singers they explained that they’ve been too focused on what’s happening on their own team to worry about what the other teams are doing. So no sneaking a peak at the competition, if you believe what they’re saying (I do).

If you missed it earlier, we’ve got a The Voice Episode 3 teaser clip and then also a few looks at the Battle Rounds themselves.

So are you going to stick around tonight and watch it live or catch it tomorrow?

THE VOICE Episode 3 Battle Previews

We already shared with you The Voice episode 3 preview but now NBC has sent a few more sneak peeks are way to share. We’ve got a handful of clips to check out and each will give you a different look at how the Battle Rounds will play out starting this week on Tuesday when the show moves to its new time at 10PM.

The Voice Episode 3: Let the Battles Begin
Here we’ve got Vicci Martinez and Niki Dawson, both from Cee Lo Green’s team, facing off in the ring (I can’t believe they even put up ropes like it’s a boxing ring). After they’re done Cee Lo will have to pick one for elimination. It’s entertaining, but definitely an odd (just in a “new” way) to see this kind of showdown.

Next up we’ve got clips for Tarralyn and Frenchie from Christina Aguilera’s team.

THE VOICE Episode 3 Preview: Battle Rounds Begin

When The Voice returns for its third episode we’ll be introduced to the next stage: Battle Rounds. NBC has released a teaser video showing how it will play out and right now it looks pretty interesting. I had been expecting each singer to get their own turn at singing the song, but it looks like there will be more of an overlapping duel.

Don’t forget The Voice will be airing at a new time on Tuesday nights with a 10PM start time instead of 9PM. Kinda late and I can’t decide if NBC is trying to kill the show or not (remember how Leno’s show bombed at the 10PM hour?).

Shocker: NBC Won the Night with THE VOICE

Hang on to your butts. NBC won the coveted 18-49 year old demographic last night with their new show, The Voice. Even more impressive news is that the sophomore broadcast did better than its premiere ratings which usually isn’t the case unless good word of mouth carries it higher.

NBC is dancing and singing in the halls of 30 Rock. NBC’s The Voice was up 10% with adults 18-49 from its premiere to an impressive 5.6 adults 18-49 rating from 9-11p, and NBC won the night with adults 18-49.

I’m interested to see how NBC’s odd decision to move The Voice to a later time will do for its ratings. Usually that’s not a good thing to do, but then again NBC doesn’t usually make good decisions so it kinda fits.

Watch The Voice Online: Episode 2 – Blind Auditions

NBC has released the full version of The Voice Episode 2 so you can watch it now online right here.

I’m not convinced that the talent this week was better or as good as last week’s premiere episode, but it was still a pretty good show. Can’t wait to see what happens next week on The Voice!

The Voice Episode 2 Results – Blind Auditions

The second and final round of The Voice Blind Auditions is now over and with that brings us the complete set of teams for each of the four coaches. Here are the results from episode 2.

  • Christina Aguilera picked up Cherie Oakley, Julia Eason, Justin Grennan, Raquel Castro, and Lily Elise.
  • Cee Lo Green selected Nakia, Emily Valentine, Curtis Grimes, Tori & Taylor, Niki Dawson
  • Blake Shelton chose Jared Blake, Serabee, Tyler Robinson, Sara Oromchi, Dia Frampton.
  • Adam Levine will work with Casey Desmond, Devon Barley, Tim Mahoney, Casey Weston, and Angela Wolff.

Combining these selections with last week’s first round of auditions gives each team their full eight members. Now we’ll move on to the Battle Rounds where each team will face off against itself with duels where the coaches will eliminate one singer each time before facing off against the other teams.

THE VOICE Interviews: Frenchie Davis, Jeff Jenkins, Kelsey Rey, and Patrick Thomas

To get everyone pumped up for The Voice episode 2 tonight on NBC there was a group interview held with singers from the first round of Blind Auditions. Each coach’s team was represented by a singer as we had Frenchie Davis, Jeff Jenkins, Kelsey Rey, and Patrick Thomas on the call. The interview lasted nearly an hour and featured a few interesting bits for each performer. Here are a few of the highlights.

Frenchie Davis felt strongly that this wasn’t her “last chance” as she had previously mentioned. Davis is excited for another chance after her long ago Idol fiasco and looks forward to America remembering her for her talented voice, not foolish choices of her youth. Regarding her performance of “I Kissed A Girl,” Frenchie explained that this was the only song left for a female that had yet to be performed. It was not her first pick, but rather her only option.

Kelsey Rey was worried that she came off looking arrogant and cocky after last week’s The Voice premiere. She promised that wasn’t her intent nor was it a reflection of her true personality. The other contestants on the call gave her a lot of support and agreed that she’s a very sweet girl. As far as that YouTube video with millions of hits, that was the result of her managers combining her with a song they already owned. No word on what that song was, but maybe someone else knows.

THE VOICE Blind Auditions Round 2 Preview: Cover of Forget You

I’m not so sure this was really that great of a performance but it definitely baited Cee Lo Green in to turning around during the second round of Blind Auditions on The Voice and seeing “who was this brave individual” as he put it. I’ll stick with the original.
