Tonight on The Voice 2013 the Top 8 becomes the Top 6 as two more artists will leave the show. Based on iTunes sales and past rankings, it would seem Caroline Pennell and Ray Boudreaux are most in danger of leaving the competition.
But we’ve also got a surprising bottom three contender. And that’s Matthew Schuler. His version of Imagine Dragons’ “It’s Time” failed to impress and has the worst ranking on iTunes from the week.
The Voice 2013 Top 8 will become the Top 6 tonight after America’s votes from the night before are revealed. America will also get the chance to decide which one person from the Bottom Three gets to stay in the competition with the Instant Save.
Also tonight, Coach Cee Lo Green is set to perform along with pop star Ellie Goulding. Cee Lo will perform “Amy” from the Goodie Mob’s latest album, “Age Against the Machine.” Ellie will perform
Tonight Will Champlin performs “At Last” on The Voice 2013 as part of the Top 8 live performance show. He’ll be contending to remain in the competition as part of Team Adam.
Well here’s a good, but played out song. Last week’s selection was a much more modern hit, so maybe he’s trying to balance it out with a well known, aged song. I will be interested to hear it coming from a male singer though
Ray Boudreaux performs “Gimme Some Lovin” tonight on The Voice 2013 for his live Top 8 performance as part of Team Blake.
Now here’s an old song, reaching back to 1966, but it’s well known and has some fun energy in there that I’m sure Ray is hoping to harness to catapult him on to next week’s round. I’m sure Coach Blake is hoping for the same! What do you think of Ray’s song choice for
The Voice 2013 Top 8 are set to take the stage tonight and sing for your votes, America. There’s a lot at stake tonight, especially for Teams Cee Lo and Blake, who haven’t exactly faired well so far. So we can expect some strong performances as the Top 8 fight for spots in next week’s final six spots.
As always, I’ll be covering the performances live. I’ll be recapping each one and assigning the letter grade
Tonight on The Voice 2013 Tesanna Chin performed Underneath It All by No Doubt in her bid to remain in the race and keep Team Adam alive.
Her song choice this week comes much more modern after the previous round’s Gladys Knight selection. Of course that choice didn’t hurt her chances and she’s still here on The Voice. But with two more eliminations this week it’s doing to be difficult to risk any chances.
No Doubt’s hit
Team Christina’s Jacquie Lee takes on the Motown hit “Who’s Loving You” tonight on The Voice 2013 Top 8 performance show.
The song has been covered by many, but it was most-famously done by The Jackson 5. Can Jacquie Lee’s version become the next big hit? Maybe not a hit, but it should be able to help keep her stride going. She should be able to sail into next week’s Top 6 performance show. She’s been
Team Blake’s Cole Vosbury channels his country roots tonight on The Voice 2013 as he takes on Vince Gill’s “I Still Believe in You.”
Cole has seemingly been a stand-out for Blake Shelton’s team and this popular country song is sure to register well with the country music audience. So it should be an easy week for Cole and an almost certainty that he will advance to the Top 6 performance show next week. I’m never
Things have been a bit hit and miss for The Voice 2013′s Team Adam standout James Wolpert. Tonight he’s taking a risk with Queen’s “Somebody to Love.”
Will his performance tonight register as well as his earlier performances or will it flop like his version of “Mr. Brightside”? Regardless, I think James has at least one more week in him. So I think it’s safe to say he’ll be in the Top 6 regardless of how
Team Christina Aguilera’s Matthew Schuler will be taking on Imagine Dragon’s “It’s Time” during tonight’s The Voice 2013 Top 8 performance show.
Matthew has been on fire all season and has had great success with past performances like “Wrecking Ball” and “Hallelujah.” And Christina seems to have picked a winning song once again. Imagine Dragons is huge right now and a lot of people know this song. So will it be his next iTunes hit? I
