The Voice 2012 Top 4 Performs Tonight

Tonight The Voice 2012 Top 4 will take to the stage again to sing for a spot in the finale. Each artist will be singing two songs again. And it’s all up to you, America, to decide who moves on. All you have to do is vote.
Last week Team Adam joined Christina on the sidelines when his team was wiped out. Both Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown were eliminated. That means Team Blake or Cee Lo will win The Voice Season 3.
The Top 4 — Team Blake: Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott; and Team CeeLo: Nicholas David and Trevin Hunte.
Who do you think has what it takes to move on and advance to the finale next week?
We’re so getting a little Holiday bonus tonight from The Voice, according to NBC:
During the competition episode of “The Voice” on Monday, December 10 (8-10 p.m. ET), Bublé will team with artists for his new song “Christmas, Baby Please Come Home.” That same night, musician coach Blake Shelton will be joined by his team for a rendition of “White Christmas.”
The Voice 2012: Top 4 Group Interview

This week on The Voice 2012, the Top 6 became the Top 4 as we said goodbye to Amanda Brown and Melanie Martinez (that’s all of Team Adam by the way).
The remaining six contestants — Nicholas David, Terry McDemott, Cassadee Pope and Trevin Hunte sat down with Christina Milian for the weekly group discussion, where they mourned the losses of Melanie and Amanda and got a surprise as they were shown some never-before-seen footage of rehearsals.
Trevin and Nicholas talk about performing with Matchbox 20 and spending the week without their coach, since Cee Lo was out sick during rehearsals. Cassadee weighs in about being the only girl left in the contest.
Find out what else the Top 4 had to say about this week’s episode of The Voice and we will be back here on Monday night as they take the stage to fight for a shot in the finale. Who are you rooting for? Who do you think is going to win this whole thing?
The Voice 2012 Results Show Recap: The Top 4 Announced

The Voice 2012 Top 6 became the Top 4 Tuesday night as two more artists were sent packing after Amercia’s votes were revealed. Another coach was also knocked out of the contest and will be joining Christina Aguilera on the sidelines.
Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown said goodbye to The Voice, which leaves the Top 4: Terry McDermott, Trevin Hunte, Cassadee Pope and Nicholas David. So that means Coach Adam Levine is out and only Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton remain.
During the first round of results, Carson Daly sent Terry McDermott to safety. After more filler performances we learn that Trevin Hunte is also safe. So that leaves just Melanie, Nicholas and Amanda. Carson says following the next performance, one of the artists will be eliminated, instead of revealing the next safe artists and eliminating the last two standing.
So after Melanie and Nicholas sing their duet, they join Amanda on stage to find out who is the first to go. Carson reveals that it’s Melanie. So that leaves Amanda and Nicholas. At this point it has become obvious to me who is going to stay and who is going to go. Carson proves my instincts correct and sends Nicholas on to the Top 4 and tells Amanda she will be heading home.

- Cassadee Pope (Team Blake)

The Voice 2012 Top 6 Results Tonight

Last night on The Voice 2012, the Top 6 took to the stage to sing for America’s votes. Each artists sang two songs — one their own choice and one chosen by their coaches. So who did America love this week? We’ll be finding out later tonight. One thing we do know is that two people will be heading home.
So by the end of the night, we’ll have The Voice 2012 Top 4. Who do you think is going to stay and who do you think is going to go?
At one point, I thought Trevin Hunte was the natural next person to exit the show. But he may have landed a whole lot more votes with his performance of “And I Am Telling You.” So who does that leave? I think Cassadee Pope is safe for sure. She’s the only artist to have both of her songs up high on the iTunes chart. But the others all did make it on the charts. So that makes this hard to predict.
If we went right on our poll from last night, then Melanie Martinez and Terry McDermott will be heading home. And our poll results have been making pretty good predictions. So what do you think? Who stays and who goes?
Check back in later tonight for the live results of The Voice 2012 and a full recap of the show later.
The Voice 2012 Top 6 Performances Recap: Oh, That Song Again?

On Monday night, The Voice 2012 Top 6 took to the stage and performed two songs each. In the end, it was a night of cliché singing competition songs. As usual, I’ll recap each performance and assign the letter grade I think each deserved.
Round One
Nicholas David, September
What I liked most about this performance were the Bandstand/Soul Train dancers in the back. That was some pretty sweet staging. Nicholas was totally back in his element with this song. He did get a little overpowered by the backup singers a few times, though. B
Cassadee Pope, Stand
I’m wondering if this song is a little too obscure for The Voice audience. I mean, there isn’t a country artist in the contest for a reason, so I can only assume country fans aren’t watching (despite Blake Shelton’s presence). But that being said, Cassadee’s performance was pretty flawless. Her voice almost sounds like it’s getting better. A
Amanda Brown, Natural Woman
It was a very solid performance despite this song being way overdone on singing shows. I would’ve picked a better song for her, but hey, it was still good. A little screamy at the end, but great nonetheless. A-

Cee Lo Green To Manage Juliet Simms

You might be hearing from The Voice Season 2 contestant Juliet Simms again soon because Cee Lo Green announced that he and his Primary Wave Music has signed on to manage the former Team Cee Lo contestant.
Cee Lo coached Juliet last season all the way to first runner-up. So even though she didn’t win The Voice her season, it looks like she’s well on her way to the musical career she’s been working toward.
“Juliet has that electricity in her voice, originality, likability and real brand-ability,” Cee Lo said in an interview recently. “As I told her from the beginning, I’m dedicated to building her career and with the help of Primary Wave’s resources, I’m confident that she’ll be the girl to watch in 2013.”
Juliet landed on The Voice Season 2 after several unsuccessful record deals.
Cee Lo talks to Christina Milian about the “breaking news” in the clip below. Juliet is also set to appear on the Dec. 11 episode of The Voice 2012 to perform her new single “Wild Child.”
