Matthew Schuler might have been eliminated from The Voice 2013 this week, but his career is anything but over, he tells Entertainment Weekly in a post-elimination Q&A.
You know, I’m talking to some labels and getting my original music out there. That’s the entire reason why I auditioned for the show, so I can share my original stuff with the world. I write so much and I want to write for other people. Music is so
The Voice 2013 Top 6 became the Top 5 this week when Team Christina’s Matthew Schuler was eliminated. Matthew stood next to Team Adam’s James Wolpert in the bottom two, but America gave the Instant Save to James.
After his elimination, Matthew stopped to talk to reporters and bloggers about what Christina’s parting words were, what’s next for him and how it was meeting Kelly Clarkson.
“Well the first thing she said was, ‘First off, enjoy
On Tuesday night we saw the final six become the final five as Team Christina’s Matthew Schuler was sent home. Sharing the bottom spot with Matthew was Team Adam’s James Wolpert.
America chose to save James, however, so that means unless he pulls off something amazing next week, he’s likely heading home before the finale. That leads us to the purpose of this post and that’s who actually has what it takes to win The Voice
The Voice 2013 Top 6 will become the Top 4 tonight as two more acts will be heading home based on America’s votes from the night before. And once again, America will get one final chance to speak up and decide which of the bottom three should stay and which two should go.

The Voice 2013 Top 6 are taking on two songs tonight, giving them a double shot at getting voting into the Season 5 semi-finals.
Which of the Top 6 — Tessanne Chin, James Wolpert, Will Champlin, Jacquie Lee, Matthew Schuler and Cole Vosbury —will shine tonight? We’ll be live blogging the performances tonight to help you decide. As always, I’ll be reviewing each performance and assigning a letter grade to each. I’ll also be sharing with
The Voice 2013 Top 6 are taking on two songs each tonight, getting double the chance to wow America into sending them onto the semi-finals. Tessanne Chin’s two songs are “Redemption Song” by Bob Marley and “Unconditionally” by Katy Perry.
I think her two songs are a smart mix. One, the Marley number, is right up her alley. And the Katy song will appeal to younger audiences. I think Adam realizes Tessanne is at risk this
Tonight James Wolpert will perform two songs for us as part of The Voice 2013 Top 6. He’ll be delivering “Fell In Love With a Girl” by The White Stripes and “I Would Do Anything For Love” by Meatloaf.
I’m not so sure about the song for James this week. I think the White Stripes one is a good choice, but the other? I wonder if Adam is trying to sabotage James to ensure Will Champlin
Will Champlin of Team Adam has continued to surprise everyone as a dark horse contender in The Voice 2013. And tonight he takes on two songs as part of the Top 6 performance show. Will he continue his stride or fall short?
Tonight he’s singing the powerful “A Change Is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke and “Hey Brother” by Avicii. I’m not sure about the latter song, but “A Change is Gonna Come” will surely put
